Fay,
Look for a company that doesn't sell tires, but does do alignments. They
will do a better job. One of my other cars is a Chevy Van tow vehicle. I have
had it for a number of years. Every time I get new tires, I am always told
the same story. The tire place can't do an alignment because the pitman and
idler arms need to be replaced. Doesn't matter which tire company it is. And
of course they want to install replacements. A couple of my friends with
Chevy truck get told the same thing. They were never bad, and never need
replacement.

I just go to a place that has alignments, and doesn't sell tires. Job is
always done right.

I take my Audi to a place that does only alignments. Been going there for
20 years. They do a lot of race car alignments. They still do the alignments
the old fashion way. Mechanical camber, caster, and toe gauges. I have
always had even wear on my tires.

Look around for a race shop and ask where they have their alignments done.
You may luck out and find a place locally. Good luck

Greg
