Or valve stem perhaps? It seems at least *plausible* the stem could
start to leak where it interfaces w the wheel..........the lack of
pressure could have then allowed it to settle into a slightly different
position, where it stayed after pressure was restored. It's defintely
one of those Law & Order "is it POSSIBLE?" kinda
suggestions.............but hey, it's possible. That's my story and I'm
sticking to it!
Also valve stem cores can stick or bind, and may have reseated properly
after refilling the tire.

about the self healing tire...that has happened to me on my 90 audi
100...we were getting ready for a roadtrip and as soon as we got front
right was flat....since I was near a gas station I drove on the flat
and filled it up...continued on the road trip and haven't had a
problem 5000 miles later....a friend thinks that somehow the tire got
pushed off the rim and realsed all the air.....
