No heat in '91 CQ

Isn't that servo motor controlled by a strip of electro-sensitive material
over which some sort of pickup arm slides in response to the signal from
the sensors in the cabin? Someone was going to try to clean/repair the
strip of material (I can't recall the correct descriptive terminology), but
I never saw a report of their success. The alternative is to purchase a
new servo motor assembly for something like $60. That's what I did for my
200q20v.
