Drew,
You may find that you can't import an Iltis to the US.  The Canadian armed
forces just switched from the Iltis to Merc vehicles and there was a guy in
Quebec who had a huge inventory of surplus vehicles for sale on eBay - he
was getting quite the firestorm of angry e-mails from south of the border
folks that couldn't bring the vehicles into the US.
