Steve is correct here, currently the only Iltis that you can legally
import for on road use are the true german made 79s and 80s, here in a few
days, the 81s will be legal. (DOT/EPA exemption on 25 year old vehicles
by manufacture date).
Mine was a 79.
You'd have to wait a few more years to bring in a Bombardier (Canadian)
model, as they didn't start making those till 83.
