Are 1.8T's JUNK????

I've only used Mobil 1 in our cars, 0W40 Mobil 1 is the oil of choice
for the 1.8T, IMHO.

For whatever reason, oil consumption is definitely higher using even
10W30 Mobil 1 versus Castrol Syntec 10W30. Both oils come out pretty
clean even after 5k miles in the Beetle.
