Are 1.8T's junk?

BTW, the 1.8T was replaced with a 2.0T version of
it with direct injection. So, it was HARDLY dropped
at all, just enhanced (200 HP now). And even boosted
ones I've driven don't have near the lag of either of
my K24 equipped cars. Really, quite a nice engine!
