Rear Brakes worn out WAS: BAD dealer service

Audi has a proportioning valve which fights front end drive with rear brake
bias.
In other words, in the old days, front wore first, but some cars pivoted
around the fronts during braking/cornering.
So to keep this from being a problem they incorp., some rear brake into the
system to cure that and address some "front end dive".
So the old addage of 70/30 braking force MAY be subjective to the style of
driving.
FYI: I smoked the pads down to the backing plates on a 200 20V (156K) at the
track. Precheck had the rears between 1/3 - 1/2 thickness.
Audi A6 Avant Audi Assured ~50K Same thing RR rotor scored, pad INTO the
rotor scored..... Brown brake dust EVERYWHERE. Audi (after complaining) comped
the caliper.
A few examples of older (1991) and new ABS style systems (1999) with similar
outcomes................
