I think Huw has information on his web site about alternator rebuilding.

Maybe he has the bearing part number and cross reference information.
I dont recall seeing any part numbers for bearings. Part numbers for
regulators yes, but not bearings.
When you do find the right bearings, please tell us where you got them, the
size information, the manufacturer of the bearings, the part number. What
tools you used, etc, etc. For what alternator?
Also add all the key words into your final post so the google search engine
can home in on it:

Maybe this is all you need for your alternator.
It drives me nuts to do a search in the archives and get very little useful
information.
"Yeah, I replaced the bearings and it works!" . . .. yeah, great . .and now
we dont know squat.
Ok, rant off.
Oh yes, and dont forget to powder coat the alternator with Huw's favorite
color. Be proud of your work!
