New boot will get you also the plastic frame with clips, so it would all
fit perfectly,
but if you still like to glue it, use the Polyurethane based glue with
accelerator; like
used for windscreen mounting, or hot glue used for double glazing, or HV-350
made by Valco Cincinati.
