I believe the reason for the 37mm offset on the Coupe Quattro is due to the
Flared fenders, not as a result of the strut housings.  The later type strut
housings are also used on the 20v sedans and they use 42mm offset
Speedlines.  There are "Coupe Speedlines" and "Sedan Speedlines" which look
identical but have differente offsets.  The 205/50-15 is the stock size for
a sedan with the Speedline option.
Anyway, the 712's are a great value.  Superb rain traction, not real sticky
in the dry but they do last for a while.  I've had two sets with no issues.
