Denis,
Maintaining a V8 quattro can get expensive. The timing belt alone will cost
you $2,000 CAN when you need to get it done, and it should be replaced at
every 100,000 km or less. Replace the timing belt requires some specific
tools and it should NOT be attempted to do without them.
If you are planning to part out the rest of the car, I am sure you are
going to be able to get your money's worth.
BTW, where are you located?
