Front - Rear Torque Bias

Try to stop thinking of an open differential "controlling" torque, and try
to think of it ONLY as "allowing" differential speed between the axles it
driving, hence the name "differential."

Open differentials do not control torque, Torsen differentials do.  Open
differentials only allow the axels to rotate at different speeds.  Although
they do transmit different amounts of torque to the two axels, they don't
control that torque.  It's simply a result of the resistance the axel feels
to rotation.  Torque in an open differential's a result of friction, not of
being controlled.
