	there's a mac app called mac stumbler that's a lot of fun.
just drive around in the back of a car with it running and it beeps
every time it sees a network.  lots of people leave the out-of-box
password in place.  those of us in the know should spread the word
to others to put a password on there - unless they want to share.
there's kind of a grassroots movement of folks who set up access
points that are free.

	you can find logs online of chat coversations and stuff that
various PD uses.  the one i saw years ago was from chicago.  they are
now certainly encrypted, maybe not even on the same part of the spectrum.
