and places tend to be closer together, IIRC. SF is similar,
it's easy to walk a block at most and find a network to use.

or using it to send spam. also the other side can happen, people
can leave nets open for people to use and sniff all their packets. "wide
open" is both ways, generally, unlike a bypass valve or something. speaking
of, i put a stealth FX (GFB) on my A4. interesting. i can make it WOOSH
when approaching a bus stop and everyone looks up :)
