You make a good point about different regions probably having quite
different prices for Audi's
(and other brands) When I said low selling prices I am thinking in terms of
what they would sell for in the greater Tucson, AZ area. I am in an area
that is not overloaded with Audi's to say the least. Here are some examples
from past eBay sales from the place in question.........
1991 80 5 spd, 174,000 miles, sold for $2175......that one probably
wouldn't bring much more if any in Tucson because of not a quattro......
1993 90 quattro 5 spd, 185,000, sold for $2025.....going only from the
pictures this one should easily sell for more than double that price in my
area....this one in particular caught my eye for what it sold for compared
to what the condition "appears" to be
1992 100 quattro Avant, 176,000, sold for $2326....this one had some
problems on the left side, a dent extending from the front of the door
forward into the fender, the rubber trim from the side trim was "scraped"
off, some scrapes around the rear wheel opening on the fender and scraping
on the rocker panel
1988 Toyota Corolla GTS 5spd, 104,000...sold for $810......going by the
description and pictures this Corolla would easily bring over $2000 here
because of the engine used in the GTS
1989 Toyota 4Runner, V6, auto..295,000, sold for $1500.......again, even
with the high mileage this 4Runner would sell for more here........Toyota's
sell good here in southern Arizona
got kinda long but wanted to show some examples
