Intercooler fitment, etc. on possible turbo conversion

Interesting.

I have been entertaining the owner of the coupe about using some of the
suspension I have off a model 80 with 4X108 hubs, bigger brakes and rear
disks.  I wonder if there is some merit to using the transmission i have
from that car.  I know the '83 Coupe would need a different clutch disk, but
it would likely get a 5kt flywheel and pressure plate anyway.   I suppose I
could use a disk for an 80.

On that note, I do plan to use the 5ktq trans I have into my '83 Ur Quattro
when I install the monster motor.
