If you choose the SUVlights harness, and intend to run higher wattage (i.e. 80/100W H4 instead of 55/60W) make certain to select the Heavy
Duty harness which comes with (as I best recall) at least 12ga or 10ga
wire. The standard harness is not up to high wattage bulbs (14 ga).

For the harness, you can either make it youself if you are handy with electrical
stuff or buy a premade plug & play harness. For a good P&P harness at a great
price, check out SUVLights: http://suvlights.tripod.com/suvlightscom/html/wire-harness.htm They are great to work with an will do a custom harness with any
kinds of connectors you need for very little extra over their preconfigured
harness price...

I have a '87 5kcstq w/the abyssmal US headlights. Me needs euros. I snagged
some used Hella Auxillary headlights for cheap. But that's not as
"elegant"
as euros.

I've noticed that the non-turbo euros are WAY cheaper than the turbo
versions. If I decide to go that route, check my checklist: I'll need wiring
harness (who sells these?), non-turbo grill, bulb(s). Is that it? Can anyone
w/btdt's let me know what all I need? Side markers? Seals? Buckets?

t.i.a.,
Chris
