Look under the archives under "instrument cluster repair" Sounds like a
possible IC circuit board trace break.

Hi again,

Not sure what has happened to my subscription. I thought I was dropped
&
resubscribed since I haven't had a single email or digest since Jan 25,
2004. After re-subscribing I received notice that I AM still
subscribed.
Anyone have this happen?

Enough of that and on to the problem. The latest issue to correct is a
failed speedometer & odometer. The speedo started to bounce from 0 to
60
for a bit then just stopped working. Same for the odometer - no mileage
on
either the trip meter or the total mileage meter. I don't have my
Bentley
on hand 'cause I left it in my friends shop after we replaced the
steering
rack, ball joints & lower control arm. Is this a known issue or am I
just
lucky?

TIA,
