this is according to what I have stashed in a spreadsheet, original
source unknown. It might be authoritative, or I might have grabbed it
off the web.

WRT the '83, I bet that 3Z tranny came out across a model year, like
just about everything else from those days. While the tall gears on the
QF are sort of cool, they are absurd. Red line in 5th at over 150 mph
in a 100 hp car with the aeordynamics of a brick?
While the 87.5 may have a different code (due to the larger drive
flanges), the one I threw away (cracked case at slave mount) seemed to
be the same as the ABV. I may be wrong, however.
I also have some numbers for two different 013 trannies, with a really
low first and 5th in between the two 093's, but a final drive of 4.11.
Was this for the 4 cylinder FWD cars?
