17x8", 30mm offset on a 4kq or Coupe GT?

I used to run 15"x7.5" rims with 205 rubber and 35 offset on my coupe gt,
the rear tyres used to rub ever so slightly on the rear arches. Looked
brilliant though!!!

Thanks for the responses on the windshield washer squirters.

I have found some wheels for my 4kq that are a specific size.  I'm wondering
mostly about how well they would fit, and less so how they might look (since
that's a personal thing).

Has anyone ran 17x8", 30mm offset wheels on a 4kq, or Coupe GT for that
matter?  I think my 17"s are 7" wide, and the offset is higher as well,
maybe 40mm.

I am becoming increasing a fan of the German style of smaller diameter
wheels (meaning 15" or 16") with significant lip.  

These wouldn't quite be that style, but they would have more lip than my
current convex-ish Revo's due to both the size and style.
