Questions for 80/90 owners

The manual climate control has two bulbs if I remember correctly. You 
need to use an "L" pick to pull the knobs straight out and then there is 
a phillips screw or two that holds the face plate on behind them.

The L and R buttons are not lit up, the directional control pad is 
though. It takes two small bulbs. You can find replacements at Radio 
Shack, they are 60mA 12volt bulbs with thin leads for soldering to a 
PCBoard.
