Questions for 80/90 owners

I have much of my center console apart to install new shifter 
components, and have been taking the opportunity to replace some 
burned-out bulbs. I'm getting carried away, as usual, and have a couple 
more questions regarding replacing bulbs.

1. How does one get to the climate control illumination? I have a '95 
with manual climate controls.

2. Are the L and R buttons for the power mirrors supposed to be 
illuminated? Mine haven't lit up since I've owned the car. Same with 
the bulb for the window lockout button. If these are supposed to light 
up, how can I get to the bulbs?
