A6 electrical problems

2000 A6 2.7tt
ABS Sensor bad-itermittent, I unplugged it. I'd rather
it be out all the time than only on sometimes and
trying to guess when or when it isn't activated. 
Temp Sensor was bad, replaced. 
I buy used, so hopefully the PO worked out all the
kinks, that and I got the extended warranty on this
one knowing it would be expensive to fix any quirks on
this one. 
Check engine light has been on since I bought the car,
I still have to do the MAF recall check on this, but
when VAG was run a slew of codes came up.
I never bring my car to a stealership unless it's a
recall and even then I am very hesitant........too
many horror stories.
