RIGHT ON MIke!
Very rarely does a car search go only one car.
So multiple searches are needed. (I guess this supports the unlimited use
reason and cost)
However, CAR FAX doesn't report all the relevent or accurate info about your
car.
Whether its due to slow reporting or multiple ownership changes or people not
doing their job.
I bought an Avant from ForceFive.com. I saw the deer strike damage prior to
having it fixed before I bought it. CARFAX showed a clean title even though
I knew I was buying a rebuilt car & title.
Whether the insurance company who claimed the car and auctioned/sold it
didn't report it, or the car was fixed really fast........it came back clean title.
I've also seen two others in the same situation. One a motorcycle.
Rebuilt/Salvage title : clean car fax..................which make me think:
should I try to collect on their $5,000 guarantee?
