Cold has reared it's ugly head

Several years ago I bought an 86 5ktq. Well maintained by the PO and
overall in good condition. This little turbo coolant hose that is
described was the first thing that went.

Last summer I bought an 88 5ktqa. Very well maintained by PO (all work
done at a shop and documented). Incredibly, this little turbo coolant
hose was again the first thing that I needed to repair because it burst.
Interestingly, the car had several new coolant hoses, but not this one.

I think they are vulnerable because they are very close to the block and
right under the ps pump. I don't know how the pentosin affects the
hose, but possible it weakens them?

Next time I buy a type 44, I'm going to replace that hose right away!
