Clutch/Flywheel Measurements

If anyone is doing a clutch R&R, or have a motor out of their late model Quattro (with and 01E 6 speed), I need some measurements while access can be gained. Here's what I need:
	1. The distance from the bellhousing mounting flange on the motor to the face of the flywheel where the pressure plate bolts to. My recommendation would be to lay a straight edge across the flywheel, and then make the measurement. You can use a steel rule (prefered for accuracy), or if you have calipers that would be ideal. Please let me know if the thin sandwich plate is in place when you measure (the plate should be 5.5mm thick).
	2. The depth measurement on the flywheel from where the pressure plate bolts to, to the surface that the disc bears against.

Any help along these lines would be greatly appreciated. If you're planning a clutch R&R in the near future, let me know. Also, If you happen to be in SoCal, let me know, and I can come by and do the measurements myself if you prefer.

Thanks a bunch,

Andy
