Apparently, the 2004 S4 has a minor teeny little problem with a 
selector shaft seal of some sort wiggling out of its seat, and 
dropping into the tranny itself.

It then(to say the least) causes some problems.

I'm gonna love seeing Audi squirm its way out of this one, since you 
can't really mod the V8 all that much(certainly can't chip it and get 
an extra 100hp), so they won't have anyone to really blame.  Maybe 
the short-shifter kit guys?
