David,

  Usually the seals have metal in them you need to drill a small hole through 
the metal and then use the screw technique. Look at the new ones to determine 
where the metal is. In the past I have made something like a dent puller with 
a screw at the end. Maybe you can carefully cut a small groove in the metal 
and use a screw driver and rotate it out. Just be careful to not nick the 
cam. I know this is obvious info but hopefully it may help. Maybe some other 
listers have better techniques.
