4kq engine bracket hardware

I just bought mine from Rod, and he sent me the hydraulic ones, and told me
not to use the spacers on the existing ones on my car. Moot point anyways,
since the hood won't close, or close, with the spacers on the new motor
mounts. Car in question was 86 4kq, with stock JT.
Cheers,
Brady

Hi Brady and list,
Thanks for the replies. Hmm... I replaced them with whatever part number
shows as the
correct one, at least according to TPC's website. While I assumed they were
hydraulic, they
may not be. I didn't realize the original ones weren't.
I put my 3B motor in the bay last night, and the turbo is way close to the
mounting tab for
the original airbox. I think even with the spacers in place it might still
be close tho'.
If anyone who's done such a swap knows whether I should cut the tab off or
not, please let
me know. I would prefer not to cut anything I don't need to, at least until
it comes time to
put in a monster FMIC.
Thanks,
Ken
I'll check this out.
