Whats wrong here?

My 90Q has just developed an odd problem.  While driving the other day, my cd player (aftermarket) turned itself off and I was unable to turn it back on.  The interior lights and clock also refuse to work.  

When checking the fuses I found that the fuse that is on that circuit was bad, but upon trying to put in a new fuse, it blew out immediately.  I tried taking out the CD player and replacing the fuse, same result.  Any ideas as to whats going on?
