electrical gremlins are reproducing

Last night a buddy and myself were trying to find out
why my every time I go to start my 1990 100q the
battery is dead. The drain on the battery is about
150 milliamps, some members of the group report drains
anywhere from 60-100 milliamps. With a test light
hooked up, we started pulling fuses. First thing I
noticed was that the test light was pulsing, like an
AC signal. When we pulled fuse #19 (anti-theft) the
test light dimmed and the frequency of the pulse
slowed down, but it did not turn off. So at this
point we think there are 2 drains. Pulling the rest
of the fuses yielded no change in the light. So after
that we went and disconnected every module and relay
we could find, the panel under the driver dash, 2
under the back seat, 2 in the dash behind the radio,
and one under the glove box, still no change in the
light. Now we have nothing, the one under the glove
box we thought was connected to fuse #19 and that
would disconnect the drain, but we were wrong. Short
of finding every electrical connection and pulling
them apart looking at the light, I am not sure how to
go forward.
But during this mess, I did find something
interesting. The passenger rear window does not go
down, not from the driver switch, and not from its
own. Also there is a tube under the back seat, driver
side that is all twisted and has a hole. I have no
idea what that is for, but I have suspected that I do
not have a battery drain, but rather an air leak and
the air pump runs trying to pressurize the world and
runs the battery down in the process.
As a test, can I disconnect the air pump, charge the
battery and see if it goes dead? Will that pump
effect anything during a normal 10-mile drive to and
from work and some errands? Also any tips about that
window? How about a way to keep all the bolts and
screws that hold the interior organized, dozens of
baggies, what have you all used. Right now I have a
magnetic tray that has everything, but I have since
forgotten which bolts hold on which panel.
Thanks
Pasquale 1990 100q in pieces but XM works and does not
drain.
