Third Brake light dead

OK, first, check the bulbs, I believe there are three in there.

As I recall (I think my coupe sports an 87 5k 3rd brake light...) you 
squeeze in on two tabs on ends of the light itself to get inside it.

No fuse inside; and I don't think there is a "control unit," it just 
runs off a wire from the other brake lights.  But checking your Bentley 
would confirm that.
