According to some friends of mine, and what I have seen on the news, this
latest virus is creating a backdoor access for later use by some hackers. 
Apparently, it was reported, that this was being missed by the protection
system of the two you mention above.  I have not seen any report yet saying
if Mcfee is also missing this.
