I forget where I read about this years ago - possibly in an article about
workforce recruiting and the web. I do it occasionally - put in my name or
names of people I knew from years ago and see what turns up.
My name results in, among others, the producer of Xena, Warrior Princess,
and an actor in The Cutting Edge (maybe the same guy?) - TCE was filmed in
Copps Coliseum here in Hamilton and I remember that as a student I was
contemplating responding to the call for extras, but skipped it 'cuz it was
a good day for biking. Turned out that they had such a poor response that
they used cardboard cutouts for the on-ice crowd background shots. So now I
can't use my name as an actor (not that it's the only thing stopping me) -
add it to the department store/travel agency/car rental business/repair
shop/etc. etc. I can't open. oh well.
Can't beat the comic connection though Robert - I take it you never got any
crank calls from Japanese radio morning talk shows?
Cheers!
