EFI woes

Right, but in the case of me having to get the car started to move around
the driveway until I isolate and resolve the problem, the relay would be
better.
I have been jumpering the relay to charge the system and lift the airflow
plate with a 3mm T inserted thru the mixture adjustment hole. Then I remove
the wire and insert the relay again and start the car. I could have saved a
step with a regular relay.
This should be mute point soon as resolving this is higher on my action item
list, now that UrQ is inspected (hurrah!).
Also good to know this if you just don't have a jumper wire made up on hand,
but you can alway find the nearby radiator fan or light relay.
BTW - I have found that most of the maintenance neglected 4kqs and coupes
with CIS-E I have troubleshot with various poor running and no start
condition will require that the injectors be pulled to check fuel delivery
and /or pattern along with o-ring seal replacement. This among almost
complete replacement of vacuum lines and repairs made to aged hoses will be
necessary. After this, air, oil and fuel filter changes and fresh good
quality oil, a good cleaning of sensor plate and throttle body, plugs cap
and rotor, the engines generally are running soon like new again.
