I have never had an Ultranator but after chatting with Avi a couple of years
ago it was my understanding that it was a typical Bosch regulator (same
style as used in most other Audi alternators). If that is the case you
should be able to remove and use the Bosch number on it to buy a new one.
Someone has one listed in an ad on the marketplace, he may be able to give a
part number.
