Ignition stalling solved, gas related stalling now :(

Just get new temp sender and get the resistor out of there, to start 
with.  The sender doesn't really "send" anything, it is a varying 
resistance to ground.

With new sender, see if you basically retune the car to run properly.  I 
don't know if you said what kind of car it was in there somewhere, but 
either Scott Mockry's site or mine ought to have some decent tune up 
specs and info.
