I know very little about the AC system on my 80q and I am hoping for a little help with a non-operating system.
It has a fresh charge of R-12 in the system and it seems to want to work but the compressor clutch only kicks in for about 2 seconds, disengages and cycles this way about every 10-15 seconds.
When the compressor is working (briefly) it is very quiet which leads me to believe it is fine.
Any suggestions? Clutch? Electrical? Or maybe just some type of adjustment?

Usually fast cycling is a sign of the system being too low on freon...
