Not completely cold, but not "track hot" either.  Just normal street
driven temps.

The previous set of tires on my S4 biturbo (225/45-17 Pirelli P6000)
was run at this pressure with no abnormal wear pattern at the time of
replacement.  My front left outside edge was slightly more worn than the
rest of the tires, probably because I like to take clover-leaf style
exit ramps at speed :).

I have since switched to 18x8 Avus wheels and am running 235/40-18
ContiSportContact 2, also running at 38psi all around.

BTW, Audi states in a tech bulletin to keep these low profile high
performance tires inflated to a relatively high pressure. I don't
remember the exact PSI recommendation was, but I think it was in the
upper 30s.
