states, as California, New York, Maine, Massachusetts and Vermont have
stricter emission regulations than federal guidelines. Stricter
federal emission regulations go into effect in 2006, as do new
standards requiring low-sulfur diesel fuel, a must if diesels will be
part of our transportation future."

> Steve, I think there are 4 states that have tagged along with California on their emissions standards, which effectively eliminate diesels from being sold in those states - I know Massachusetts is one, not sure of the other 3 - they are all in the Northeast, so NY could indeed be one....
