I may be an idiot (and need your help)

Huw, Eric--

I wish it were...but the horn's still on...brackets intact.

I think i've figured it out: my coupe may be one of the last on the planet
with the original pressboard undertray/stone guard still intact (directly
beneath the radiator assembly).   I think this may be the mounting bracket.
I may have forgotten about it simply because in my previous Coupes, this
thing was toast.

Will jump out to the gee-rage later to confirm.
