I pulled my mounting brackets and thought they looked much too short
(width-wise) to meet both lower tabs on the euro's...but I'll lay off the
beers and take another, better look tomorrow. Maybe Dr. Dremel is up to the
task.
Also good to know that yours are secure with just 3 mounts. I was pretty
bummed about that lost tab. I may yet try to rig something there, just
because I'm a nervous nellie.
For markers, I'm wondering if I might wire the city lights for this purpose,
and use yellow bulbs...but that might be a poor compromise due to their
position. I'm told that a certain year Passat bulb socket that allows for
dual filament is a good drop in for the turn signal mod you mentioned.
