10v CGT engine cut out

Hey,

Had a similar problem with my GT a while back and eventually traced it to the 
ingnition wires and especially the coil wire...   Not sure of the cause but 
somehow the coil wire kept burning up the coil terminal.   You may check your 
plugs and wires out if it has been a long time since they were changed - they 
don't last forever....  

Also I would suggest replacing all of the old oil-soaked soft vacuum hoses 
because they can come apart internally after too many miles and then the bits of 
rubber can clog things up that shouldn't be clogged...

lastly I'd watch the coolant level closely if you fill it up and then it goes 
down again within a day or two  you either have a leak or a blown head 
gasket. If your head gasket is leaking then it could be putting out the fire in a 
couple of cylinders, could also cause erratic coolant temp issues..
