My '92 100S w/ 112k on the clock uses about a quart every 750 miles. No
smoke, no leaks, etc. I bought the car in '96 w/ ~50k on it, and it used
little or no oil when I first got it. I have used synthetic 10W30 w/ Mann
filters since I have owned it, and consumption has gradually increased to
where it is at now. I have switched to dino oil (the "higher mileage" type)
for my last two oil changes, and no difference (except it costs 1/2 of what
synthetic costs, which got pretty expensive with my consumption rate). I
just live with it, and add a quart when it needs it.
