1988 5000 cs start and run problem

Maybe it the son who should knwo these things take $$$ if your not 
mechanically inclined and buy from the dealer etc.........

Can you give us more detail on what the running problem is?

Hesitatation beyond idle?  No idle?  etc?
That car is CIS Continuous Injection System.
Vacuum leaks around the rubber intake boot from the fuel distributor could be 
a source of the problem.
FPR  Fuel Pressure Regulator.
IC Intercooler hose to intake / turbo (Michelin Man hose) could be the 
culprit under driving conditions...................
ISV  Idle Stabilization Valve could be causing the idle issue (needing the 
foot to keep it idling or lumpy unstable High (like 1300 RPM) idle.

Where does it do what and when?
