Man, you had to keep going with this...
>>>the same red neck (Mr. President to you sir) Bush supporters (and a lot
of
their children/grandchildren) that saved your (collectively, France,
Holland, Germany, Italy, most of the rest of Euroasia) necks about 60 years
ago too, right? How quickly we forget, or do they not teach History in the
UK?
Yea, comparing WW2 to the current policy that our government is using
happens to be a great tactic for the masses. Lets call 9/11 "Pearl Harbor"
to give us historical justification and draw the attention away from what is
really happening.
WW2 in Europe alone had seen thirty-some-odd MILLION deaths to a conflict
which centered around unprovoked aggression, expansionism, genocide and
world domination by a schizophrenic paranoid sociopath and a brainwashed
public. At the time, we took a stand on the side of righteous, helping the
Soviets, Brits, French, Serbs, Poles, and many others in Europe push the
Germans out. The sacrifices made by the US during the war were great, heroic
and worthy of praise through the ages. It is a shame to this nation that
until very recently, there were grander monuments to the Americans whom gave
their lives in WW2 European cities than in America itself! Ohh, and speaking
of history, I assure you that an average child in Europe knows more about
WW2 than you. The level of education in this country, especially in
mathematics and history absolutely blows, but that's another story...
In our current conflict we are at war with Iraq. A nation whom we dislike
solely based on their religion and race. NONE of the 9/11 hijackers were
from Iraq, Osama and Hussein have NEVER met, there are NO links between the
two at all. And believe me, its not for lack of trying to find the evidence
ether. The CIA and the Musaad have given it their best. We attacked Iraq for
many reasons. Racism - although there are no links between 9/11 and Iraq, to
us they all look the same. Greed - We now control the second largest oil
reserve in the world and our VP's company got the SOLE, UNCONTESTED, SECRET
bid to "rebuild" the oil drilling system in exchange for what, oil rights!
The war is supported by a paranoid public lead by an uneducated leader to
carry out the wishes of those whom put him in office - oil companies,
military contractors and heavy "investments" from Israel.
The attack on Iraq is the single biggest act of unilateral aggression on a
sovereign nation since WW2! Wake up! We are on the wrong side this time! Do
you think that Adolph while marching on Poland was telling people that they
were the bad guys? Every side makes them out to be on the right side, but
take a third person look for a minute!
>>>It seems those not directly related to the attacks
on 9/11 have forgotten about the 3,000 PLUS dead AMERICANS, that
deserve to have their deaths to be cause to protect the lives of their
loved ones still on earth.
What people like you have trouble understanding is that although every
intelligence agency in the western world has tried to find a link, any link,
between 9/11 and Hussein HAVE FAILED. Furthermore, all the intel out there
shows that the two factions hate one another! The war in Iraq has NOTHING to
do with 9/11 and everything to do with what is written above. And for matter
of comparison so far we are responsible for 9,400-11,300 civilian deaths in
Iraq! (http://www.iraqbodycount.net/) Add to this the numbers from Human
Rights Watch: 6,000 in Afghanistan, 1,000 in Kosovo, 3,000 Somalia... We
also support governments that at will blow up a restaurant, a traveling car
or a crowded bus because they THINK someone they don't like is inside. We
heavily supported the Sultan of Iran whom trails only Stalin, Hitler, Pasha
and Mao in the sheer volume of human rights abuses (yes, Hussein comes a few
notches below him). We sponsor numbers of governments that routinely use
torture, rebuttals against family members, imprisonment without charges and
execution without trial. We put "temporary" troops in Saudi Arabia over
ancient sacred Muslim sites where some of our troops have desecrated them.
(Yes they are bad apples but it still happened.) Ohh, and don't forget that
it was the US government that trained Osama, sponsored AlQuada, supplied
Iraq with WMD's and encouraged their use in Iraq-Iran war.
The crowning moment was when our last dim-witted president put in an embargo
against all goods being shipped to the Sudan, including medicine and when
the Sudanese built their own pharmaceuticals plant, sent in a cruise missile
attack against it, based on intelligence we got from the Musad about the
plant manufacturing WMD's. Well, we killed 16 doctors and countless people
whom died from not getting the medicine the plant would have manufactured. A
UN team was sent in to investigate the rubble for WMD's. They found only
medicine, no WMD's!
Is it any wonder to you that some people may not like us as a country?
>>I know (and have family members) that were either/or. I'll fly freaking
barefooted/shirtless, and wouldn't mind if they made everyone do that for a
while, if it means my mother/father/wife/son/daughter etc. is safer for it.
>>>We live in a different world, and we can not expect to have the same
freedoms we have always had since the days of Paul Revere. It's just
not possible.
Zeig Heil! I cannot believe that an American would so easily give up what so
many have fought so hard for and many around the world dream about! You have
no idea what it is like to have your car stopped on the side of the road by
an MP with a Kalashnikov whom questions you for 20 minutes without telling
you what is going on. To have the KGB knock down your door at night because
a neighbor reported that you were listening to "illegal radio stations". To
be arrested and put in prison for indefinite amount of time because you had
"illegal books" in your possession. To have to carry papers everywhere,
which must be presented at once at military checkpoints outside of towns.
Shirts and shoes is how it starts and that is where it goes!
I'm going to use a quote from Brett's sig:
"They that give up essential liberty to obtain temporary
safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." - Ben Franklin
Freedom is freedom. It is ageless.
>>>The appeasers in Spain will get reap what they have sown.
I will tell you one thing, nobody in Spain will have a plane flown into
their building, a train blown up or their water poisoned. There are two ways
to deal with someone whom you don't like and not have the problem again.
First is to beat the snot out of them, beat em to a bloody pulp to the point
that they ether never get up or will never dare tick you off again. That is
what a child or a bully would do. The second is to sit down and figure out
what makes us angry at one another and resolve the differences in a civil
manner. Although option #2 is not always possible, it is most certainly
viable for our current situation. For whatever reason, we are acting on
option #1 and what's worse, people like you support it!
I dont know why I just spent an hour writing this stuff. The 30-second
attention span will not let most here retain anything that I wrote.
Disregard the above email and go back to watching Fox News - "Fair and
Balanced." What a laugh!
>>>I'm a Republican, Bush supporter, and I vote. I encourage others to
vote,
even if they aren't of the same opinion/moral fiber as I, because that's a
cornerstone of democracy. I support PM Blair for his allegiance and efforts
to curtail terrorism worldwide as well.
And this is what makes this country great! For now at least, we are allowed
to speak and debate these matter in an open forum without fear of waking up
in a jail cell, or worse.

President Bush, then boy howdy' I'ma standin' proud. I sleep better at
night knowing there's a good chance my mom won't be killed walking into the
Pentagon (like she nearly was) because a plane might be crashed into it.
When someone crashes a plane into Buckingham Palace or #10 Downing, because
nobody cared or even attempted to thoroughly check that the assailant
carried a knife, bomb, etc onto a plane, don't come crying to the list, that
is if you're lucky enough to not be one of the innocent victims either on
the plane or on the ground near the impact.
