That's why I recommend and love using the Hub Shark, lifetime guarantee,
and the instructions tell you to use an impact gun. Last wheel bearing
was in and out in less than 20 minutes. I borrow the tool from a friend,
a nearby machine shop has been borrowing some of the attachments to use
with the hydraulic press, says, depending on the assembly, they work much
better than the ones that came with the press.
Agree with never using heat, tempering or hardening the steel isn't a
good thing.
