5-speed Tiptronic was introduced on the A6 line with the switchover
to the C5 platform, so it was '98 for the sedan and '99 for the Avant.
The A4 autoboxes had 5-speeds without Tiptronic in '96, then Tiptronic
was introduced in '98 (although some early '98s may not have Tip).
