Short Shift Kit - '88 90q

I used a shifter ball and housing from a rabbit / scirrocco.  I believe the 
holes needed to be drilled out slightly, and I modified my existing shifter 
plate with a hammer (to place under the rabbit shifter housing and keep the ball 
in place.  I think I also needed a spring, washer and circlip to keep things 
together.  A little ingenuity and maybe $17 in parts dramatically reduces 
shifter throw.

I think there is someone who sells a similar kit with the parts machined and 
ready to go for between $80 and $130 on ebay -- depending on how the auction 
ends.
